This is a relatively flat cobble beach that stretches far out into the bay at low tide. Seely Brook fans out across the beach at low tide as it reaches to join the marine environment. The cobbles of this beach are mixed with sand eroded from the nearby sandstone cliffs. This fine material stops the incoming waves from percolating through the coarse clastic beach, resulting in a flat beach with a brook that is able to flow over the cobbles all the way to the bay.
